Slatted frame and slat base: what you should look out for
The right slatted frame plays an important role in healthy and restful sleep. A mattress can only develop its full effect with an optimally adjusted slat base. The various adjustment mechanisms are particularly important in order to adapt the individual lying zones to the desired requirements. The ergonomic fine adjustment is made exclusively by adjusting the slatted frame.

Slatted frame
A good slatted frame is the ideal basis for any quality mattress – whether pocket spring core, comfort foam or latex. The slats are made of beech wood and offer specific adjustment options for different body zones and sleeping habits. The beechwood slatted frames are available in various comfort versions. They can be adjusted manually or by motor. We offer slatted frames from Röwa, riposa and Roviva.
Plate grates
These system frames perfectly complement high-quality mattresses, whether visco or comfort foam. Individual plate elements provide precise support for the body and ensure optimum ventilation thanks to the open honeycomb structure. The degree of firmness can be individually adjusted to suit your body shape. Available in rigid, manual or motorized versions for individual comfort. With us you lie on Tempur.
Box spring suspension
The box spring is a sprung base frame that can also be inserted into an existing bed. This is an upholstered wooden frame with Bonell or pocket springs. These base mattresses are particularly suitable for pocket spring mattresses and guarantee even suspension without restricting air circulation. Here too, you can choose between electric or manual comfort settings. The box spring bases available from us are from Schramm and Röwa.
