Are you unsure whether a new bed is really necessary or whether it is enough to check individual parts? The bed check is a guide to help you assess your sleeping system situation.

What the bed check includes and what you take away from it:

• A structured overview of the most important questions/criteria relating to the bed.
• Clarity as to where you should look first (overall system vs. individual components).
• A clear basis for the next step: your most important points, which you can clarify during the sleep consultation or in the showroom.

The pillow check is a decision-making aid for choosing a pillow. It helps you to take a structured look at your situation (e.g. sleeping position and sensation in the neck/shoulder area) and narrow down your choice. Ideal if you are unsure or have already made a bad purchase.

• A compact decision-making aid with the relevant questions/criteria for pillow selection.
• A clear direction as to which properties are likely to be important for your sleeping position and your sensation in the neck/shoulder area.
• Specific points that you can address during a pillow consultation.

If you are restricted in your mobility and would still like a sleep consultation with our trained staff, we offer you our free and non-binding shuttle service. Once you have registered, we will be happy to collect you from your home and bring you back again afterwards (except on Saturdays). This offer is available within a 10 km radius of Winterthur. Other distances by arrangement: 052 214 30 90.

If you are unable to visit our specialist bed store in Winterthur, we will come to your home. We will advise you in the same way as in our specialist bed shop, examine your sleeping habits and use our spine scanner to give you a recommendation. Within a radius of ten kilometers from Winterthur, the home consultation costs CHF 290, with an additional kilometer charge for longer distances. We will offset this amount against your subsequent purchase of a new sleep system (minimum purchase from CHF 1000).

Responsibility for the environment is a growing concern for us and our customers. The “healthy sleep” philosophy therefore also includes “healthy products”. We are increasingly offering sleep systems and components made from natural materials that have a positive impact on the environment when disposed of at a later date.

On request, we can deliver our sleep systems and mattresses to your home and assemble them carefully. Costs may be incurred for this. Our service team will explain to you on site how your new bed system works and what you need to bear in mind. We will dispose of your old bed or unused material professionally for a fee. If your old bed is still usable, it will be sent to people in need in Eastern Europe. We only offer disposal in connection with a new purchase.

We grant you a one-off 30-day right of exchange on the mattress you have purchased.

Prerequisites

• We have received ergonomic advice from a sleep expert.
• You have purchased products with appropriate firmness levels and settings (both the mattress and the slat base in combination) that our sleep experts have recommended.

Implementation

We will either replace the mattress core once or replace the entire mattress model. Additional costs may be incurred for the exchange (delivery flat rate, price difference of the products according to the price list). We will provide further information on the conditions depending on the situation.

Validity

The 30-day exchange guarantee applies from the date of delivery and only on presentation of the validated Schlafpunkt exchange guarantee. The exchange guarantee does not apply to special dimensions such as extra lengths or extra widths. Custom-made products and glued mattress cores are also excluded. Damage and/or soiling of the mattress also excludes an exchange.

Periodic cleaning of bedding is necessary for hygiene reasons. We work together with an external service provider and will pass your bedding on to them on request.

The cleaning service is suitable for:

• Down and feather comforters
• Cushions and bedspreads
• Mattress toppers and covers
• Waterbed covers
• Wool and fleece blankets

Our business partner is an innovative wet cleaning center and cleans your bedding cleanly and gently as if “by hand”. From small pillows to large waterbed covers. For more details on the process and prices, please contact 052 214 30 90.

Our waterbed service includes preservatives and travel expenses at a special price of CHF 229. Included in the service are

• Cleaning and checking the mattress
• Regulation of the water volume
• Filling in the water preservative
• Deflating the mattress
• Checking the heating system and temperature
• Inspecting the protective tray and Velcro straps
• Correct positioning of the mattress
• Checking the separating wedge
• Checking all attachments
